Our Kirkniemi mill in Finland boasts more than 60 years experience and expertise producing lightweight graphic papers trusted by printers and specified by publishers from around the world.
Committed to a sustainable graphic paper market
Since 2015, more than €80 million has been invested in decarbonisation and sustainability initiatives at Kirkniemi – leading to today's 70%-reduced product carbon footprint.

The product range covers 3 grammages, 10 different bulk options across two different shade levels - all offering consistent quality, excellent runnability and dependable print performance.

Sappi has a long-standing commitment to the book publishing industry, offering a comprehensive range of high-quality papers trusted by publishers, printers and end users worldwide.

While Galerie Book marks Sappi’s expansion into the uncoated mechanical arena – a great new option for both fiction and non-fiction – our Magno portfolio has been a book production mainstay for more than 45 years.

Galerie Book is already in live production and being used successfully by customers across Europe.

1. What shade options are available for Galerie Book?

We currently offer two cream shade variants for Galerie Book 'Creamy' and 'Creamy Bulk'. For precise shade values, please refer to the technical specification download provided on this web page. A Galerie Book 'white' shade is in development and will launch early 2026

2. What grammages and bulk options are available?

Galerie Book currently comes in two product types; Galerie Book Creamy and Galerie Book Creamy Bulk. 3 grammages and 10 different bulk combinations in total.

3. Is Galerie Book already tested and approved for live jobs?

Yes. While Galerie Book is new to Sappi’s range, it is already in live production and being used successfully by customers across Europe. The paper has been extensively tested and delivers the same quality and reliability expected from the Galerie brand and Kirkniemi mill.
